Zephyr

Zephyr – Where Winds Meet

 …

A musical encounter between three of Sweden’s top flutists in folk and world music. They have a unique sound and a wide variety of musical journeys in their backpack; from Nordic folk music and North Indian classical music to contemporary music. This phenomenal flute trio recently released their first album, October Ocean, on the Playing With Music label. The vast musical landscapes span from far-north heaths to rush-hour traffic in a hotter climate. Remarkable rhythms percolating throughout melodies and sound excursions under the sea, providing music like nothing ever heard before. Winds ranging from a soft breeze, a bracing north wind to a sultry monsoon.
